Itinerary
DAY 1: CHENGDU
Meet your guide and driver in the morning and travel approximately 130 km to Wolong, nestled deep in the Qionglai Mountains. Upon arrival, visit the Wolong Giant Panda Museum, where you’ll learn about the panda’s natural habitat, biology, and China’s pioneering conservation efforts. Afterward, check in at your hotel near Shenshuping Panda Base, and enjoy a peaceful evening in the mountainous reserve.
DAY 2: WOLONG
Spend a full day at Shenshuping Panda Base participating in panda care activities: assist keepers in feeding pandas and cleaning enclosures, gaining a rare behind-the-scenes look at conservation. Return to Chengdu in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy authentic Sichuan hot pot while being entertained by a mesmerizing Sichuan Opera face-changing performance.
