DAY 1: Chengdu – Xinduqiao
Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu in the morning. Depart westward along the Chengdu-Ya’an Expressway, crossing the Zheduo Mountain Pass at 4,298 meters elevation. This pass offers expansive panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and vast Tibetan plateau landscapes, a majestic introduction to the highlands.
Arrive at Xinduqiao, often called “Photographer’s Paradise,” known for its golden meadows, traditional Tibetan villages, and winding rivers. The interplay of light and landscape here creates stunning photographic opportunities at any time of day. Explore the quaint Tibetan lifestyle and pastoral scenery at your leisure. DAY 2: Xinduqiao – Litang – Daocheng
Continue across the western Sichuan Plateau, passing through the vast Kangding Grasslands, famous for seasonal wildflower blooms and herds of grazing yaks and sheep.
Reach Litang, the world’s highest county seat at 4,014 meters above sea level. Known as the ‘Land of the Gods’, Litang is a Tibetan cultural stronghold rich with monasteries and vibrant local festivals. DAY 3: Daocheng – Yading Village
Drive deeper into the remote mountain valleys, passing colorful forests and Tibetan hamlets. Arrive at Yading Village, the gateway to the pristine Yading Nature Reserve. The village offers a glimpse into authentic Tibetan rural life and serves as a starting point for trekking adventures.

DAY 4: Yading Nature Reserve — Luorong Pasture — Milk Lake (Light Trek)
Take an eco-friendly shuttle bus to Luorong Pasture, a vast alpine meadow surrounded by snowy peaks and rich in wildflowers during summer months.
From here, embark on a light trek (or opt for horseback riding) toward Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake, nestled beneath the towering sacred mountains of Mount Chenrezig, Mount Jampayang, and Mount Xianuoduoji.

DAY 7: Kangding – Chengdu
